Small company in Queens, New York seeks part-time information technology person to perform routine troubleshooting and support tasks. Tasks include:
NOTE: RESPONSES WITHOUT SALARY/WAGE INFORMATION WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED
--setting up and synchronizing personal and laptop computers with mobile devices and company vpn/e-mail
--maintenance and troubleshooting of in-house and external servers, phone lines and internet connections
--liaising with outside retained IT vendors, including the company`s primary software vendor and equipment supplier
--performing all software upgrades and addressing spyware/adware/malware problems
--ordering computer equipment, software and supplies
--administering employee passwords and ensuring data security for the entire company
Must have techincal training in information systems, computer science, etc.
This position is part-time, 5 hours a day for 3 days a week, on a 1099 consulting basis without fringe benefits. Position reports to the office manager.
